Funky, eager to leave for camp tomorrow

Hey, do you know what? Fort Moultrie was the first fort built in Charleston, S.C., and i recently visited it! We just got back from charleston on thursday and i had a whole lot of fun!! we even went to this restaurant where Sandra Bullock and a whole bunch of other famous people, like jimmy buffet, the beach boys, mel gibson, and billy joel ate!! i got pictures of the sandra bullock table(favorite actress, shes the best!), mel gibson table(he rocks!) Billy Joel table (he also rocks)and ate at the jimmy buffet table (hes really really funny!) That was so cool! i also got pictures of my family attempting to eat crab legs, or something like that (of course, not me, cause im veg.) and it was really really funny!!! We took this carrage tour around the battery( a battery is a group of cannon-like weapons on the coast of a particular area that charleston used to defend itself against the union. We also got to see the remains of the Hunley (the first submarine to sucessfully sink a ship). Its really freaky cause after the hunley sunk the ship it was only about three miles away from the shore and then it disappeared for about a hundred years under the ocean, and was later discovered in 1995. No one knows why the hunley never made it back to shore, it was found deep in a sand bar but it had not been there the whole 100 years it was missing. That is a true true mystery!!! If you ever go to Charleston i really suggest seeing it because its got this amazing exhibit to read and look at and they even found this ring that is worth over 10 million dollars today and they have it on display, they also have this coin that saved the life of the captain of the submarine at the battle of shiloh. See, the coin was given to him by his sweetheart as a protector and was only worth about twenty dollars in today's money. Alexander kept the coin in his left pants pocket at all times and was shot in the left leg at a later date. The coin caused the bullet to richochet off of him and only caused a slight dent in the coin, he later named it his "life preserver". iSnt that cool or what???? doncha just love history!!!! i think thats cool. also, all seven of the men that ran the hunley were volunteers, so we should honor them for giving up there lives to sink that ship. also, the hunley went through about 15 men before these brave men boarded it voluntarily, i say they deserve to be honored!!! Go see the exhibit of the hunley submarine, or youll be sorry!!!
